Season Ticket FAQs

Each season ticket allows one admission to all eight Mainstage productions. A Christmas Carol is not included in any season ticket.

All season ticket packages include one free date exchange per production. The free date exchange applies only to the date exchange and not to a seating tier exchange. Because prices are different in each package and seating tier, if you exchange to a performance or seating area with a higher ticket price you will be charged that difference in price. Please note: Preview and Early Bird performances fill up quickly, so it is best to reschedule early.

A Weekend Season Ticket allows you to come once per production on either Friday or Saturday evenings. Your dates and seating area were chosen at the time of purchase.

A Midweek and Matinee Season Ticket allows you to come once per production on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or to any matinee. Your dates and seating area were chosen at the time of purchase.

An Early Bird Season Ticket allows you to come once per production on either the first Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday of each production's run. Your dates and seating area were chosen at the time of purchase.

A Preview Season Ticket allows you to come once per production before the official opening. Preview performances may be briefly interrupted due to the nature of final dress rehearsal. Your dates and seating area were chosen at the time of purchase.

A Flex Season Ticket allows you to come once per production—any day of the week, any time with available seating. This ticket type allows you freedom to choose your dates and seats as each production approaches, rather than at the time of purchase. You reserve performance dates and seats at your convenience.

Making Reservations: Reservations must be made by calling the Box Office. When you call, please inform us that you are a season ticket holder and how many seats you are reserving. The theater is not responsible for limited seating choices if you fail to reserve in a timely fashion or if you miss a production or reservation.

Seating Strategy: For the best availability make reservations a month or two in advance of when you would like to come. Use our the online ticketing to see which seats are available prior to calling. However, your reservations can not be made online. Avoid Preview dates and the first full week of a production's run. Performances can fill up quickly, so if sitting in particular seats is important to you make reservations much sooner rather than later.

How to check your reservation dates: You may see your upcoming reservations in your online account. To find them, please log into your account. Then click on your email address in the top right to see your profile. Then click on “Upcoming Events.” If you have never used the online ticketing, please activate your account by clicking on the indicated link on the log in page, and following the instructions.

Reservation Changes: Each season ticket allows you one free date exchange per production, if made at least one business day in advance. Additional date exchanges are $5. Same-day exchanges are $8; the date free exchange does not apply. Use the online ticketing to see which seats are available prior to calling. However, exchanges cannot be made online. If you exchange to a performance or seating area with a higher season ticket price, you will be charged that difference in price. When you call, please inform us that you are a season ticket holder and how many seats you will be exchanging.

Show Reminders: If the theater has your email address, as a courtesy, you will receive a reminder at least the day before your scheduled reservations.

Unused tickets: Unused tickets are not transferable to other productions.

Missed shows: The Theater is not responsible if you miss a performance. Missed performances cannot be rescheduled to future performances. However, you may apply tickets from a missed performance to tickets purchased on stand-by for another performance of the same production.

Stand-by: Starting 30 minutes prior to a performance, the Box Office will begin a standby list, with the line beginning at the Box Office. In the event of last-minute cancellations, seats may be released and sold to those on the standby list on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee that seats will become available, and only those who arrive in person can be on the standby list (we cannot take names over the phone).
